Jane Eyre - Michael Mason, Charlotte Brontë I have started to read Wuthering Heights at least three times. I've never been able to finish it; too dark, too dreary, and I didn't care about any of the characters. I somehow managed to mix Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights up in my mind, and believed JE to be as dark and dismal. It wasn't until I saw a production of JE on PBS that I realized what a great story it is. Now I'm scouring all the used bookstores to try to find a copy. Low and behold, I'm finding a lot of copies of WH, and no copies of JE. Methinks people love this book, and don't want to part with it.

Update:
Mary Jo loaned me her copy, and I'm loving it! I'm in chapter 10 and revelling in it.
